Discover new musician posts in the Knowledge Graph on Google

Google made a small update to its search engine on March 8, 2018 to display new posts from musicians within the sidebar, the Knowledge Graph . If a band or artist publishes information through Posts on Google , the posts will be presented directly in the Knowledge Graph in the search engine, whether on desktop or mobile.



If a user searches for an artist or a group, they will be off page seo service able to consult the latest news posted to be better informed about tour dates, upcoming events, etc. In the case of an official publication, this will be easily seen thanks to the verification icon (blue) displayed next to the artist's name .





The following screenshots show examples for artists Lorde and Sia on desktop. The "Sia on Google" or "Lorde on Google" sections display the artists' latest posts, similar to what Google My Business does for businesses. These are both verified accounts marked with the official blue icon, ensuring that the information is accurate.
